Dual Chloride ISE + pH Meter

This laboratory precision chloride ION meter is a nanotechnology instrument used to obtain reliable data using data combining a chloride selective electrode and a pH electrode. It is a multiparameter instrument for Cl- ion concentration and pH analysis (imacimus 2: pH & ISE). The chloride tester is used to measure chloride ions and pH simultaneously in aqueous solutions.

This kit includes the potentiometer, chloride ion selective electrode, pH electrode, reference electrode, and calibration standards. It is suitable for various applications such as:

The chloride ion and pH analyzer is supplied with powerful analysis software that displays the measurement and allows customization of calibration up to 5 custom standard points. Continuous monitoring is also available for the study of short-term reactions or processes.

The chloride ion sensor is a replacement module that can be exchanged for a new chloride sensor or any other sensor available in the catalogue. Please note the limited lifetime of the ISE chloride sensor, even when stored on a shelf or installed in a probe. Different sensors have varying lifetimes under the same conditions.

Chloride determination is crucial in water desalination, wastewater treatment, food industries, and agricultural applications. The determination of chloride follows NF ISO 9297:2000 based on the Mohr method, using a colorimetric determination of the equivalent point with silver chromate by titration with silver nitrate (AgNO3) as the titrant. For improved sensitivity and reproducibility, a potentiometric determination of the chloride equivalent point with the same titrant and chloride ISE is recommended.
